HGTV's Fixer Upper: Living Room
Here is a before shot of the living room on Castle we renovated for our show...
I loved how open this space became after we opened up both walls. The room was dark and dreary before and now it's light and airy. The color I chose for this space was Sherwin Williams Silver Plate. I wanted to give it a clean classic palette with a touch of some fun pieces.
I always tell my clients it is okay to blend styles. I bought these chairs for $50 each at a junk store and had them recovered in a nice gray linen fabric. I mixed these antique chairs with a shiny metal table to add a little pop.
I love this rug from Surya, it is a two toned gray rug that really helped warm the space up. If you are looking for a rug for your home you should check their site out. I love it so much I got one for the farmhouse! The design on the rug helped soften the more masculine lines in the coffee table, leather chair, and couch. The amazing metal flower is from my sponsor Plumtique.
The sofa came from Build-a-sofa, they were very kind to let us use this couch for the reveal. They have a huge selection of couches and chairs.
